I’m working in Riedy Banana farm now.
2nd July, Wes, Richy, and me went back shed at smoko. I stood on the back of the truck and saw two Sarus Crane stand in grassland, when we almost achieved shed. Actually I thought they are Broga, because Sarus Crane is more hard to see. These two were really big, so I felt excited.
As truck stop, I jumped down to take my camera and ran out of shed to take picture. Suddenly I saw a flock of Straw-necked Ibis flew up. This scene was very great, but I found something wrong with birds. Then I saw a big bird was following them. That big bird is a quite huge eagle, because Straw-necked Ibis weren’t small and the eagle still was bigger than them. I observed Straw-necked Ibises flew together tried to get out of eagle’s catching , then they flew away. The eagle flew around a raw of trees then stopped on one.
I was satisfied, and remembered what I wanted to take picture for originally. Fortunately they were still there. But they were scared and flew more far from me when I stood a little closer.
Oh! So great flock of Straw-necked Ibis.
Suddenly eagle flew in my sight.
The eagle. Look like Wedge-Tailed Eagle.
Eagle was pursuing ibises.
Sarus Crane was still there.
They changed place.
I closed to Sarus Crane. This picture is enlarged.
All pictures were taken with my old camera,Canon sx100is.
